It is\u00a0mainly aimed at those who will use pre-prepared training materials to effectively deliver training within the workplace, as opposed to a professional training qualification (such as education and training), which is more focused on procedures, protocol and regulatory requirements.<\/p><p>It is a practical qualification suitable for new and experienced trainers (external and internal) who wish to improve their classroom skills and obtain a training qualification that will also enable them to deliver regulated qualifications.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p><p><strong>How long will it take?<\/strong><\/p><p>The total qualification time (TQT) for this qualification is 15 hours\u00a0and of this 12 are recommended as guided learning hours (GLH).\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Topics covered<\/strong><\/p><p>The focus of this qualification is on the effective delivery of training, allowing learners to develop planning, preparation and delivery skills, including delivery methods, questioning techniques and time management.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Assessment method<\/strong><\/p><p>This qualification is\u00a0assessed by a practical assessment and a self-evaluation report.\u00a0Learners will need to practically demonstrate the delivery of either 1 or 2 micro-teaching sessions totalling 20 to 30 minutes.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2522\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Level 3 Award in Education and Training<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2522\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2522\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><strong>Who is this qualification for?<\/strong><\/p><p>This qualification is designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and\/or Local Authorities.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>How long will it take?<\/strong><\/p><p>The total qualification time for this qualification is 120 hours and of this 48 hours are recommended as guided learning hours.<\/p><p><strong>Topics covered<\/strong><\/p><p>These include the teaching role and responsibilities in education and training, ways to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, the relationships between teachers and other professionals in education and training, inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training and ways to create an inclusive teaching and learning environment.<\/p><p><strong>Assessment method<\/strong><\/p><p>This qualification is assessed by the completion of a portfolio of evidence.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2523\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2523\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2523\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><strong>Who is this qualification for?<\/strong><\/p><p>This qualification is designed to prepare trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts. It requires observation and assessment of practice and the range of optional units available provide opportunities to contextualise the qualification for different learning environments.<\/p><p><strong>How long will it take?<\/strong><\/p><p>The total qualification time for this qualification is 360 hours and of this 140 hours are recommended as guided learning hours.<\/p><p><strong>Topics covered<\/strong><\/p><p>These include understanding roles and responsibilities, planning to meet the needs of learners, delivering, assessing learners and using resources
